Representatives from all Community Rugby League clubs and leagues in the UK have been invited to attend the annual Community Congress which will be held at The Point, Lancashire Cricket Club, Old Trafford on Saturday October 2.
Every club has the opportunity to send two representatives to the Community Congress which starts at 11am and finishes at 4pm with all delegates receiving free tickets to the Engage Super League Grand Final later that evening.
Kelly Barrett, Community Game Services Manager “The Community Congress has proved to be a popular event over the last few years.”
“Congress is a great opportunity for the community game to come together and share best practice. I’m sure The Point will prove to be a fitting venue for this year’s event and afterwards we can all enjoy the Engage Super League Grand Final.”
The Community Congress is also an opportunity for representatives to meet with and question the people who work within Rugby League. Delegates have the chance to shape the future of the sport and make suggestions about what needs to be addressed to make Rugby League better for everyone in the community game.
This year’s congress will focus heavily on the Four Seasons debate which is currently a topic of huge importance in the community game and there will be a variety of guests in attendance talking about the subject.
