THE penultimate games in the GMB Union Hull & District League take place this weekend at Haworth Park.

In Division One, the Council Trophy final sees Norland Academy going for their third trophy in what is their first season playing open age rugby.

Their opponents are Holderness Vikings, who have had a mixed season and will want to finish on a high in a game that kicks off at 1.30pm.

In the Premier Division, the top four Bassett Cup final kicks off at 3pm at the same ground and sees Bransholme Dales also go for their third major trophy of the campaign.

West Hull Lions, who led the title race until the last game, will be doing their utmost to stop the Dales' charge.

Admission is £2 and £1 concessions, accompanied children are free, with refreshments are available at the ground.

The Johnny Whiteley Trophy brings the season to a close at Craven Park on Thursday, kick off 6.30pm.

For the East of Hull select side this is a must win after three straight defeats to the West of Hull select side.
