UNISON BARLA GREAT BRITAIN UNDER 21S FLY TO RUSSIA WITH LOVE

The Unison BARLA Great Britain Under 21s fly out from Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport at 4.00am Thursday 24th June for their tour of Russia. On arriving in Moscow via Amsterdam they catch an overnight train to St Petersburg.

On Saturday 26th June they will take part in a four team tournament including St Petersburg and St Petersburg Students.

On Monday 28th June they will return to Moscow in preparation for their game against Russia champions Veraya which takes place three days later on the 1st July before returning back to Manchester on Friday 2nd July

The Unison BARLA Great Britain Tour Manager Phil Johnson said,

“This will be a great opportunity for our youngsters to mature in a once in a life time experience. To engage in international competition on Russian soil that will enhance their progression to full international recognition.

“I look forward to the games in Russia with my coaching staff and administration staff being fully prepared to set the right platform for our young guns to perform on centre stage in Russia. The Tour that sets out on the 24th June is part of BARLAs annual summer tour programme to promote and spread the game across the world.”
