As England football supporters are on route to South Africa for the start of the World Cup and England’s opener on Saturday against the USA, Garry Schofield’s Unison BARLA Great Britain Young Lions arrive home after their five match tour of South Africa today.

The squad come home unbeaten after their five wins which saw them score 275 points averaging 55 points a game and conceding only 70 points.

They showed off some scintilating skills during their games and have been worthy ambassadors for this country as they have all taken their first steps onto the BARLA international pathway.

The squad, coaches and management have learned different cultures to what they are used to at home and return with great memories that they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

The ’famous five’ wins came as follows:

South Africa Students U21’s 18-50

South Africa Junior Development 0-76

South Africa Schools 0-78
