TAG RUGBY ROADSHOW COMES TO CRAVEN PARK
Story in brief:
Do you fancy playing tag rugby and be in with a chance of winning some glittering prizes?
That's the opportunity on offer to people who sign up for the RFL-backed Tag Rugby Roadshow.
The Roadshow is a nine series event taking place in different locations across Yorkshire during the summer.
It is open to male and female players over the age of 14 and provides a great opportunity for the RL community.
One of those locations is Hull KR's Craven Park ground on Saturday, June 26.
The top teams from each event will be invited to the finals day in Wakefield when a host of prizes will be offer.
The event has been endorsed by a number of Super League players who will be making guest appearances throughout the series to congratulate the winning teams and present prizes.
RFL ‘League For All' officer Tom Allen said: "Tag Rugby is fast and fun with great emphasis on attack and involves fundamental skills used in Rugby League such as kicking, handling and evasion."
As well as the chance to take part in the competition, the Roadshow gives players the opportunity to have team bonding sessions with barbeques and gazebos being set up at each location.
To enter a team, each player pays £10 which covers a pair of tag shorts and personal insurance.
Registration for the Rovers' event - on June 26 - takes place between 10-10.30am. The competition starts at 11am and should finish at approximately 1.30pm.
