Great Britain Community Lions captain Sean Wildbore has spoken of his honour at captaining the side.

The Skirlaugh second rower will lead from the front tomorrow when the Lions finish their three-game tour with a test match against the South African Rhinos at Vanderbijlpark, Johannesburg, kick off 3pm.

“I was lucky enough to tour Australia in 2008 as a player but to do it again as captain is a massive honour,” said Wildbore.

“We’ve had a great tour so far and the lads have been very professional in all that they’ve done. We’re all now focussed on what will be a tough encounter against the Rhinos and we’ll go into the game in a confident manner after two polished displays so far.”

“Having said that we won’t be going into the game over confident. South Africa will be a very tough and physical side and we are under no illusions that it will be a real test for us.”
